When we heard that women’s trucker hats were back in style we might have jumped, or at least shimmied for joy.
Whether you love them or hate them, if you grew up in the 2000’s you probably remember the days when women’s trucker hats really took off.
Around the time that the Situation and Snooki became ever present on your television and Juicy Tracksuits were all the rage, a company named Von Dutch became the basic girls go to company for trucker hats.
Ashton Kutcher, who hosted the popular TV show Punk'd, was dubbed the "Patron Saint of Trucker Hats', thanks to his obsession with the style. He was always wearing a trucker hat with funny statements on them on and off the show.
When the trend died down, we did not see it again for about ten years but then after more than a decade in hiding so speak, the womens trucker hat re emerged on the fashion scene and once again became a fashion staple for every it girl!
One of the newest trucker hat fans is none other than makeup mogul Kylie Jenner, who has been spotted rocking the trend by way of the original Von Dutch trucker hats.
Huge celebrities have definitely caught on to this trucker hat trend revival, most notably Reese Witherspoon, J.Lo, and even the Biebs!
We wanted to share with you a brief history of the trucker hat.
They apparently began as "promotional giveaway" items that farming supply companies would give to truck drivers and farm workers as a way of raising brand awareness (hence the ever-popular, ever-hideous "John Deere" versions).
Traditionally, the back of the hat features mesh and the front part is a more traditional, stiff bill, and most designs have adjustable plastic straps. Unlike baseball caps, which use breathable cotton blends, the front of the trucker hat is crafted from foam.
We believe that the cute women’s trucker hat trend is here to stay so check out Cheers Beaches line of adorable and affordable women’s trucker hats. Save 10% Off Your First Order with code MY10

We've all heard the blonde bombshell babe walk into a bar and casually say to the bar tender "I'll have a skinny margarita, half rim of salt and LOTS OF LIME (a la Shannon Beador from RHOC) but you've secretly thought to yourself "what the eff is a Skinny Margarita exactly?
Let's TACO Bout It
Well a regular margarita is a lot of peoples favorite happy hour libation and is one of the most popular cocktails around as any good bartender should be able to make you one that wets your appetite. It pairs really well with food like nachos or carne aside fries if you're feeling yourself on a taco Tuesday.
It also translates to Daisy in English, named for the friendliest of flowers as it's pretty much the friendliest of cocktails (everybody and their grandma can enjoy them)
However the margaritas you tend to find at your local Mexican food watering holes these days serve their drinks from slushy machines served with syrupy sweet and sour mix.
Those drinks are loaded with sugar which can give you a wicked hangover headache like you won't believe unless you've been praying to the porcelain gods. It's most likely the calorie laden triple sec that causes you to feel like you wish you were dead the morning after a regular margarita bender.

What is EXACTLY is a Skinny Margarita however? So glad you asked!
A skinny margarita is comprised of fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice (in place of the more calorie-laden triple sec), tequila, and agave nectar.
The exact ratio of these four ingredients is at your discretion, though most suggested more lime juice than orange juice, equal parts tequila and lime juice, and 2 teaspoons of agave.
Our absolute favorite skinny margarita recipe is a simple Cheers Beaches Skinny Margarita
Ingredients
For One, Classic Cheers Beaches Skinny Margarita:
Optional (sliced 1-2 slices of Jalapeno)
For a Pitcher of Skinny Margaritas (5 Drinks):
Instructions
Rim half the glass: Pour a thin layer of salt onto a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the top edge of your glass to moisten it, then dip half the glass into the salt so that it sticks. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
For one (or two) drinks: fill a small cocktail shaker with additional ice. Add the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave. Tightly close and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds (it's longer than you think). Strain into the rimmed glass over the ice. Pop in a Sliced Jalapeno or two if you're feeling spicy! Enjoy immediately.
For a pitcher: In the bottom of a pitcher, stir together the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave (do not add ice to the pitcher). Serve immediately (prepare the glasses as in Step 1) or place a sheet of plastic wrap over the top of the pitcher and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.
